Tamil Proverb: காக்கை உட்கார பனம் பழம் விழுந்த கதை
Meaning: You make reason out of unconnected things and try to justify it

Tamil Proverb: உப்பிலா பண்டம் குப்பை
English Translation: Food without salt is fit for the dustbin.
Nearest English Equivalent: Variety is the spice of life.

Tamil Proverb: யானை வரும் முன்னே மணி ஓசை வரும்
English Translation: The bell rings before elephant arrives.
Meaning: You will be alerted in most situations but we need to note it and take actions before the actual situation happens.

Tamil Proverb: வேலி இல் போகும் ஓனான் மடியில் கட்டியது போல
English Translation: You put a quite garden lizard into your clothings and then blame it bit you.
Meaning: Getting into a problem wantedly.
