A Deepawali Gift -Devadas

posted Aug 1, 2014, 2:07 AM by A Billion Stories
A soul,
That thrived nobly,
Sang through its body,
As long as it lived,
And tread this world,
Soothing the living rest,
Making them believe,
Aparition called love,
Like life's amaranthus,
Would carry on life,
Songs and dance of joy,
On this small planet,
Where life appears,
Uniquely well disposed,
Is the only spirit,
Having all propensity,
To carry on and on,
Forever the fragrance,
Of life, of love, of dare,
Of duty and committment,
To all those yearning for,
A modestly blissful living,
Throbs my own heart,
And soul!
